Strange result

The movie starts off fun, then for an hour, is so completely boring, while using somewhat strange flashbacks for everything. Had they cut out all the flashbacks and used storytelling, this movie would have been magnificent. The final 30 minutes are so stunningly beautiful, it almost got me to forget about the middle half. Yes, things stolen from other movies within the genre, but the ending is great. I just wish the middle wasn't so sleep inducing, because the actors could have done so more (based on other films I've seen them in). Really could have been so much better, if they'd simply made it more condensed.
