shareI can't believe Mack was found temporarily insane...I got the feeling that it was a foregone conclusion that he would get away with it. So the temporary insanity thing didn't surprise me--even for the time and place!

I was surprised he got off either. I agreed with the end that she was hoping he'd say he couldn't do it because he loved her.
