Why the title, "Nightingale?"

The nightingale's song changes and has a lot of variety. Sometimes it sounds harsh, sometimes lyrical. Sometimes it just chatters. The main character's personality changes as well. At times angry, sometimes soothing and jovial, sometimes just frenetic actions. Any other thoughts as to why the title?

I was wondering the same thing as there was no mention of nightingale in the film. But honestly, I think you answered the question brilliantly!

In the folklore of many European countries, the nightingale's song is considered an omen of death.
