How did he survive the pills?

He took 4 different prescription medications, no indication what they were, small quantity overall.

If they were just supplements or whatever, anything but painkillers or anti-anxiety, I suppose he'd get a stomach ache and that's all and probably survive.

He vomited a little gastric juice and that's all, so he didn't vomit them out, so that wouldn't have saved him if they were a more serious pill. He wasn't even shown sick afterwards.

Was wondering that myself; idk how to explain that. Hope it's not suppose to a miracle/"god" thing.lol Sure seemed like enough to kill a man to me..

That was the only problem i had with the film though.

Yeah, he should have been really messed up after that. He took all those pills and not to mention the alcohol that he drank. He should have been at least out for a while and/or nauseous and groggy the next morning but he woke up as if he was feeling fine physically.

I woke up this way...
