The meat-offering scene??

I really like this movie, but the scene where Ruby and her friends are gathered around offering Gus meat has me stumped. It sounds like a bunch of nonsense rambling, Logan saying something about human flesh, Ruby giving a weird look, and then Gus takes off. Were they trying to give him flesh??What happened?

As a part of the ritual they were all going to eat real human meat. Gus (and another girl who left near the beginning of the scene) was disgusted by this and was fed up so he left
