It pains me to say this but.............

..........Part 2 is a mess.

I am one of Tromas and uncle Lloydies biggest advocates. I tell all my friends (and some enemies) of the joys of the Troma catalogue - in particular those directed by Lloyd himself. But for once I cannot defend or recommend this film.

The first part had plenty of issues but still held some Troma charm but this one is weak in every way. Troma movies always amaze me how much the achieve from a miniscule budget but this one is the opposite.

The jokes are incredibly unfunny, the cg effects are abysmal and the script shocking and all over the place. The characters are unlikeable even the 2 main stars (as beautiful as they are) are awful. The one and only redeeming factor is Zac Amico.

Like I said, I love Troma and all that it stands for but this was a bigger disapointment to me than Luke tossing away his lightsaber.

I guess everyone can make a stinker and I hope that the Shakespeare Tempest movie comes back to true troma form. If not, we'll always have Terror Firmer, Poultrygeist, Tromeo and Juliet, Toxic avenger and Citizen Toxie.
