I wasn't sure at first...
But I thought this got funnier as the series went on and I've started to really like all the characters not just Arthur. I really hope there's a second series it's probably been the funniest sitcom this year so far.

shareI think most people who watched the show and stuck with it saw the improvement as the series progressed. The second series has already been commissioned.
Its that man again!!
I too just watched out of idle curiosity when episode one was first shown & enjoyed it just enough to bother watching the second episode which I enjoyed a little bit more just enough to try the third & realised halfway through that third episode that this series was turning into something rather special.
By the final episode I was well & truly hooked, enough to get the DVD as soon as it came out & I don't usually re watch TV or Films for quite a long time. But this I have seen all 6 episodes from series 1 at least 3 times already! Every time I re-view I spot something I hadn’t noticed previously. So to conclude I can't praise this first TV series enough & I am ready & waiting for series 2.
In fact I found it so good I bought all 6 series of the Radio Show on CD within a month of buying the DVD. Since they arrived I have been listening to the audios very sparingly as I don't want to run out of them too quickly.
The live DVD Count Arthur Strong the Musical is also well worth checking out, I will never again be able not to think about the wonderful Count Arthur whenever M&M is seen or heard again.
