Character's origins...

I can understand why they didn't do Cus D'Amato, he was such father figure for Mike that he didn't want to portray him in a comedic light. I get Mike, pigeon, and Marquess, but where did Yung Hee come from? Is it a reference to someone else in Tyson's life?
