I watch more than my fair share of Food Network Shows, to be honest I've never heard of this chef, I like the idea of adding a woman to the mix, those familiar with her will she be a good fit on both MC show's? and what's her general personality? the kind soft spoken helpful type, or the loud boisterous type.

Either way she'll likely skew towards the former. Generally speaking Gordon's pretty sedate and kind with the kids. Except when he's in the kitchen himself anyway.
Will be good to have a girl there and change is good in these kinds of things to mix things up.
I do agree some change is needed and I think it is time a female chef was added.
