Sure thought Zach was a lock

Those pigs ears doomed him, usually on these shows when someone is "targeted" with the tough food item it backfires, not this time Addison played her hand and it worked to perfection.

I hate that kind of thing at this stage. It's so much harder than the rest. But it's part of the game. He didn't exactly do great on the first challenge either.

As I figured from the end of the second season, a girl will win the third season. Ramsay is about making a show to pander to the audience. And, from about the third episode, I knew that it would be Addison -- she just has that cutesy Honey Boo-Boo thing going on.

reply

Last week when her team of three lost and two had to go home, I knew she would stay. Because she's good on TV.

reply

She stayed because she did the best on her team from what we saw.

reply

What we saw was what it was edited to look like.

reply

Uh huh. As is everything on the show. Your point?

reply

Addison stayed because the producers had handpicked her to win from the beginning. It certainly wasn't because she did the best on her team because she didn't. Her failures in communication and leadership as team captain is what caused her team to lose along with JJ's inadequacies. If there was a team member that fulfilled their duties the best and was the most focused and collected of the group it would be Kya.

reply

Huh, I didn't know you were there. What was it like?

reply

Didn't have to be there to see Addison miscounting the fish and chastising JJ in front of the judges. Strong leadership? Just the opposite. JJ's failures were obvious. Kya's role was to put her head down and cook which she did.

reply

Kya had trouble in that challenge. Addison step up and I have no idea what was JJ doing

reply

Nobody knows, not even JJ.

reply

Addison hardly stepped up. The team's organizational issues stemmed from her lack of leadership though it was JJ's execution errors that ultimately sank the ship.

Eliminating Addison would have been unfair too. I would have preferred them eliminating the two weakest cooks regardless of team which would have been the most fair. In this case it should have been JJ and Amaya going home.

reply

Glad he got booted. Even if those pig ears were cooked perfectly, Gordo hates it when you just serve him a salad. But it did seem like they were implying for a while he was a front runner for the finals.

"I said no camels, that's five camels, can't you count?"

reply

Pigs ears would have doomed most adults. I know I have never seen or heard of them being used for anything other than canine chew toys.

They could have given him fresh ham hocks or something. It still would have been difficult but he would have had a fighting chance. Hell, any chance.
