Avery's Seasoning in the Finale
Did Avery use Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning in the finale? I noticed a similar looking green bottle when she was seasoning the oysters.

It sure looked like it. That may have been one reason she didn't win.

Avery admitted to it when Gordon asked. She replied "It's just some creole seasioning and salt and pepper."
Making the etouffee using a pre-made creole spice was as silly as her seemingly going to a lot of trouble "making" a crouton when she started with an existing loaf of bread.
On the other hand, Addison used pre-made cookies in her dessert, both crumbled and whole.
I assume they're allowed to take unlimited shortcuts, else why have these ingredients in the pantry at all?
