Her Dad blew her head off and then his own.....however the whole "final battle" thing was a bit over the top. One thing I found funny was after the Dad blew her head off and his own, that damn woman director was still holding onto the damn camera......that shows she's passionate for the job lol. I did enjoy it and found the whole concept clever...the ending was just....I couldn't help but laugh.

Oh no I agree with the "Not a happy ending" thing you mentioned, but the way it was done was a bit stupid in my opinion lol
shareTotally agree! I actually really like this movie until the end. I don't need a happy ending, but it was just so unexpected, and not in a good way. Oh well, not everyone can write a "non-happy" ending as well as Andrew Kevin Walker wrote Seven lol.

As was the demon jumping into Jason. Why would it do that?! Jason wasn't involved in the ceremony.

What got me about that is as far as I know Jason wasn't vulnerable enough for that to happen....the ONLY thing that I can think of as to why that happened is his intense sadness and anger left him open....but still possession takes awhile to happen...a demon can't just jump in you...however the ceremony that was done, it could have been some kind of super demon lol.

shareI don't think it was silly. I like the fact that she may have finally rid herself of the demon only to be killed by someone who probably thought (in some sense) that he was helping her. The killing himself part was a bit over the top though.
I do agree that the demon jumping into Jason was a bit silly. There was nothing established in the film that the demon could or even would go from person to person like that. There are films out there where that does occur, but there was nothing to suggest that it could have happened in this one until it actually does.
I got the impression that the demon left Carson and went into the dad, causing possessed dad to shoot Carson then himself, then went into Jason after that.
