How do you Doo? songs

This part is hilarious, but how the b**p do they figure out these songs? I just love this part of the show!

Some of the clue-givers are starting to incorporate the idea of charades-type mime in order to create a visual of the song title. Others haven't picked up on this--but should. It's allowed in the rules and every clue helps.

For example, in last weeks' episode: as the time ticked away, Molly Shannon made a last ditch attempt at some 60s go-go dance moves for These Boots are Made for Walkin'. Had she also made hand motions shaping boots on her legs and made some exaggerated walking steps--the chances are one of her teammates would be more likely to guess the tune than just the melody alone.

I don't think she did a very good job of "doo dooing" that song to be honest. It is a very recognizable song if done correctly.

i agree. a lot of the songs could be guessed more easily if they sang the melody.
