Incredible. I love the celebrities. I love the games. I love Jane Lynch... It's so much fun. I love the games, and I love that they don't really censor the actors.

I only realized how much I looked forward to Hollywood Game Night when I turned on the TV one week and found my local NBC affiliate had preempted a new episode in favor of an hour long special on an upcoming basketball game. At the risk of sounding psychotic, that prompted me to write said affiliate in order to complain- it was actually only the second time in my life I'd ever sent a letter of complaint like that. I know, missing a show I like is hardly the end of the world, but it was still pretty disappointing.
It's not exactly substantive television, I'll admit And okay, sometimes the celebrities are obnoxious. But generally, I find it a fun way to kill an hour. The games are silly, but genuinely engaging, and the guests are usually amusing (with a few exceptions). For me it's probably the television equivalent of comfort food.
I've been a political news junkie and documentary nut for the last 20 years and am having a bit of a personal backlash with "serious" things. Just tired of most of it. This was a good find, swung my pendulum the complete opposite way, good clean, simply fun. The people on this board who claim it's "stupid" need to explain their objections better. It isn't intended to be erudite my friends.
