Is it me, or are the celebrities on this show getting worse. You used to get decent B list or C list celebs on this show, but I find the last few episodes, you are getting more D-list celebs.
I used to be able to watch it and even before they introduce everyone, I could recognize all of them, now I have to listen to the intros as I don't recognize 3 or 4 of them.

shareAgreed, but that's the risk you take when you do a show like this. For a little while you'll be able to rally up a good list of celebrities, but you'll eventually start to run out. That's what has happened to Dancing with the Stars. That show is always hit or miss with their celebrity casts. Sometimes they do well and can get some pretty good people, but it's been a good while since they've had a truly impressive list of celebrities.
For me, I don't mind if they have a bunch of D-list celebrities. Just as long as it's fun to watch, I can deal with it. When it all comes down it, the personalities of the celebrities are what make it fun. So if a D-list celebrity has a great personality, then it makes for a fun hour. There have been multiple episodes, even in the first season, where it wasn't that exciting to watch. Simply because the personalities of the celebrities just aren't fun enough, they aren't that interactive, etc. Like the past episode, for instance. Bobby Moynihan was on it and you'd think that he'd be a fantastic person to have on the show. He can be hilarious and he's on SNL. He was an utter disappointment. He wasn't interactive, he wasn't that good at the game, and he was kind of just... there.
But anyways, again, that's just the risk you take when you have a show like this. After so many episodes, it's hard to really find a good crop of celebrities willing to participate.

To be fair, it's not the show's fault that you don't watch specific shows. Shameless and Justified, while not as big as shows like Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad are still popular shows, Justified, while it was on even racked up some awards along the way.
And while she hasn't been in the best movies, Amy Smart has managed to pop up in some popular movies every now and then, and some guest spots on other popular shows, too.
Fresh Off the Boat is pretty new (I'm not even sure if they've finished a full season yet or not (and I don't know about it's popularity) but the network it's on promotes the hell out of it to the point that if you haven't at least heard the show exists then you're probably not the best with keeping up with current television.
The show still manages to wrangle up some popular stars from time to time, you just can't expect every episode to hit it out of the park with the guests.
Zachary Levi just appeared a handful of episodes ago, actually.
I mentioned the same thing to my son when we were watching the other day. I think I only recognized two out of the celebrities.
