You can tell athletes are different than diva celebrities. They actually try their hardest to win and don't just come on to make asses of themselves.

As well as the sportscasters. I cracked up. Didn't know Rich E and Al M had "dance moves!"

Athletes are competitive. Some of the celebs are there to plug their projects. If you notice a lot of stars from the same network and people plugging movies are the majority of guests. It's most likely that the celebs were told to go on the show by their agents, network execs, or movie producers.
