Quit calling them 'civilians'!

I just said this in another thread with the same topic, before seeing this newer one, but it bares repeating - It's not unusual for the losing contestant to be shipped off stage for the winners bonus round. It's actually highly uncommon for them to be around for that round. I actually cannot think of a show that does it, off the top of my head.

On a recent episode the contestants were referred to as "normal". It was both derogatory AND revealing at the same time. I'm not sure who should have been more offended.
