No resolution (Spoilers)

I was scanning the reviews while I watched, so I shot ahead about an hour to the ending. I don't mind a spoiler and would have rewound to see how they solved the mystery, but apparently they didn't. There's no resolution at all--just the camera pulling back so we can see the bad guy's face. Roll Credits.
