will the show end next season?

I hope so...and the last half will be Saul going back to albuquerque to fight for his freedom in court.

Yes,they've already said that Season 6 will be the final one & it'll consist of 13 episodes.Last I heard they were in the process of writing it,with filming to begin this year.....however with the current situation regarding COVID-19,that's probably up in the air.

As to how the show will end, obviously we'll have some kind of resolution to the "Gene" story.Given how we left the "Gene" sequence this season (Him getting I,D'd by the Cab Driver, calling Ed for a re-do,then changing his mind, saying he'll take care of it himself),he could draw more attention to himself.Should be very interesting.

Yep, and Tuco Salamanca will be leaving prison in 11 months. Breaking Bad time is very, very close.

I was hoping this show could one day run in parallel with Breaking Bad events, but it's starting to look like it may end just before, unless we get a bunch of time jumps next season.

I thought there would be a time jump this season (like last season in episode 7)

Tuco getting out in 11 months still doesn't quite fit in the BB timeline in relation to where we currently are time wise in BCS,which is May 2004 (there's a quick shot of Kim & Jimmy's marriage license in 507 that shows this date) This would put Tuco's release in April 2005.

However,in S01E06 of BB when Tuco makes his first appearance (BB time roughly October 2008),Skinny Pete mentions that Tuco has been out for a year.So already there is a discrepancy, unless Tuco does something in jail to extend his sentence (this is what happened off-screen in S03E07 of BCS,)
