Like butter spread over too much bread

I just looked up Vince Gilligan's IMDB profile and the only work he has been involved with is this series and he can't even get the seasons to play out as constantly as other AMC programs?

It's not like he's dealing with epic storylines or huge character arcs.

Anywhoo, I just thought I'd rant.
