Not as good as the first one imo.

What I loved about the first one is that it still had some remnants of some over-the-top anime stuff, such as Jin-e's eye technique, and Saitou's ridiculous flying scene. This one had nothing of that, especially Cho not having his signature weapon but that was kinda expected really.

Yea, that coupled with the lame ending suuuuuuuucked. About as anti-climactic as you can get. I still liked it, just not as much. I hope the 3rd one ties it together, Movies need to not end like a weekend cartoon where you only have to wait a matter of days for the conclusion. It will only cause resentment, not for more fanboys to gather in awe.

Didn't mind the ending really since this is a two-part.
But of all of the seven swords, I don't like Fuji at ALL. I mean making him a giant would be too much for live action, but I felt like they could have at least tried to make him a super-tall man in samurai armor, would've looked amazing... but just a spear wielding dude apparently?
But the best highlight was how they pulled off Okina, wasn't sure how well they would've pulled off an old dude, but they did it really well with the fight scene! Oh and I loved Misao, I've always had a crush on her.

Can this be watched online now? Like a standard good quality upload of the movie?

I will not fear, fear is the mind killer

I thought this movie was light years beyond the first one. Yes, it would have been cool to see Chou's Hakujin, but there was just no way to translate that sword into real life without using a lot of CGI, which is something the crew wanted to avoid. Besides, the fight between Kenshin and Chou was amazing even without it.
