Overall pretty good

The look and feel of this movie is great. I think they took it back a little bit because normally Blue Exorcist has a modern meets older times feel, but this time was exclusively in a more retro feeling state. The colors, action, and story is pretty good, though many might find the young demon quite annoying.

I saw this dubbed in San Francisco so part of the experience was seeing it with other fans, but it was distracting because there was a group of girls that would squeal and cry at every little scene. It was cute/funny at first but by 20 minutes in, it was a little ridiculous and distracting.

The worst part of the movie, in my opinion, is the end. It starts to wind down and wrap things up then before you get to a good "ahhh this is the end" moment, it just randomly ends. It was jarring (for me at least) and was the biggest flaw.

Anyone who enjoyed the series will find enough in this to be entertaining and enjoyable to watch.
