So What's the Emergency... Is This Some Kind of Joke?

Exactly. This series has become some kind of joke except to the sycophants duped by NBC or possibly being paid to post.

There were so many bad scenes with bad dialog and non-sequitors to even begin to try to list here. And too many related but unresolved story lines.

The scene with Esposito damning Cat within a minute of arriving at the murder scene was totally laughable! 9mm, no serial number, WITH prints all over it! Really?? Why would anyone leave the murder weapon at the scene, much less doing so knowing their prints were on the gun? Come on people! BAD script, bad direction or editing, just BAD Television.

Admittedly, there wasn't a lot of competition among programming on the major networks this summer, so it was viewable. But as one Supreme Court Justice once said about pornography, "I know it when I see it." The same goes for bad television.

This show started off with promise but soon degraded thereafter. Extant started off slow and dull, but got better half way through as the storyline evolved. Taxi Brooklyn just kept devolving.

Sorry but what your said seems to be a joke. Like sycophants for NBC LOL.

No one is getting paid to talk about the show here and the fact that you would resort to such things shows there is no reason for anyone to take you seriously. And I only wished I could get paid just to talk about my favorite shows but it's not going to happen.

If you don't like it fine but don't pretend it's a bad show just because you don't get it. I am sure there are shows you do like that I don't but it doesn't make them bad either.

Instead of attacking my critique about the lack of any kind of depth to this show, why not take a more positive approach. Why not tell what you find so enchanting about the program or what challenges the intellect of the viewer.

Oh, there is nothing about this show that I fail to get. There is really nothing to get. It is not done "tongue in cheek" which might work better as a parody; but it sure doesn't come off as drama. I don't like much of it because it could have been better. I like most Sci-Fi, maybe you don't. I like most British programs that play in the States mostly on PBS, maybe you don't. There are several new shows that aired this summer that show promise. This one did initially but has sunk to the bottom of that grouping, but you seem to disagree. You are certainly entitled to feel differently as am I.

But don't that NBC cares; they've cancelled a lot of better programming that this.

Sorry pal but you are the one who attacked. I defended the show & it's fans from your ridiculous post saying people are sycophants being duped by NBC and being paid to post here which is a joke.

I don't have to tell you anything because by reading elsewhere here you obviously came here to start arguments and be to everyone here.

And I like most shows dating all the way back from the 50's of every Genre. One more I will say is the fact that you don't get it and need someone to tell you means you will never get it, especially on your own.
