Revelation of the truths about Manuel (spoilers)

Okay, so I'm not sure if I understood correctly what was disclosed during the last 10 minutes, so I thought I'd post here and see if I'm missing something.

Manuel was actually a black market exchange dealer working together with Vicky and (perhaps) with his boyfriend Maxi. Vicky was their boss and also Manuel's sister. Manuel and Maxi made up an evil scheme to stick Horacio for money and put it in action. (but it doesn't show what their scheme was like.)

In the secluded villa Manuel got so upset to see Maxi was there on the bed with Horacio, he yelled his guts out at Horacio. (Why was he so furious with Horacio about Maxi being there if Horacio was just an easy mark to him and how did Horacio and Maxi get to know each other?) From the dialogue between Manuel and Maxi, Horacio realized they were going for his money and got into a scuffle with Maxi.

In an effort to back Maxi up, Manuel ended up killing Horacio with a hammer. Shocked and panicked to see him dead, Maxi tried to get away with Horacio's money telling Manuel they'd split up, but was killed by irate Manuel.
