Explain hospitalized Kidnap Driver, Gatz...please help.

I'm at a loss who this guy was, and especially why he was in the hospital? I think this was a huge flaw in the show. Where the heck did this driver and an accident he was in, take place?

As far as I remember...Kassim gets taken and the guy who took him runs off with him on foot into a park. Then Maggie G gives chase and blah blah blah...the kid gets scooped up and taken away. Either by car, or on the back of a motorcycle. Can't remember.

In ANY CASE...how did they presumably find a getaway car with an injured Kidnap driver, when this was not the way Kassim was kidnapped??

Please help if you can.

The man wasn't a driver, it was Nessa's bodyguard.

He avoids for her to get killed, but receives a shot by one of the kidnappers, that's how he ends up in the hospital.

The other guy (I think you're referring to that) was one of the kidnappers and was shot by the bodygurad.

There's no flaw, you just needed to pay more attention.
