Idiots Abusing Animals to Make a Movie

These four "hotshots" are full of themselves because they just graduated from Texas A&M. Couple that with the greed to make a movie, and you have a recipe for animal abuse.

That is EXACTLY what we get here, too. EVERYBODY who has spent any time around horses knows you DO NOT leave a haltered horse unsupervised, either pastured or tied. That is EXACTLY what one of these morons did, despite being warned NOT to do it. So then you have lame horse #1 - a horse who had to SUFFER because of human retardation.

The second horse -- Tamale -- had a bowed tendon for whatever reason.

By the time the THIRD horse -- the last horse to jump/ascend the rocky rubble and subsequently FELL and ROLLED -- had a problem, I stopped watching this POS "movie."

There is NO EXCUSE for a lot of this. Would it have KILLED THEM to find out how to prevent their horses being stuck with the cacti? Native Americans, caballeros, and experienced desert riders KNOW this stuff!! Alternatively, it's online. Did these morons even conduct a Google search?

Why weren't the horses wearing bell boots, for example? Wouldn't it look "mustangy" enough for this stupid "film?"

The cactus scene early on was a WARNING of what was to come. I should have heeded it.

so you didn't even get to the part where one of the horses mysteriously died in the middle of the night. No explanation why.

And yeah that cactus scene was terrible.

I totally agree. I just got through 'chatting' with a Netflix representative and he listened to my concerns and venting. I let the movie play while I did this. I see you turned the movie off. When I began watching again, Cricket the horse had died. No explanation except one of those morons saying it was probably just 'his time'. They showed him laying under a tree. No clues. Nothing.
I'm from Texas and live in Texas. This make me ashamed to have these morons talking about their future and possibly procreating when they should beat their heads into the rock face of one of those mountains.
They keep flashing back on the 'Keep the Mustangs from Suffering' campaign. I'm all for that. I'm not for the ejaculate brained idiots trailering horses TO THE MEXICAN BORDER just to ride them cross country to Canada!!!
They and the film makers should be jailed!

lol you called Netflix? The rep probably put you on hold and just said uh huh a couple times. What a waste of time... they can't do anything....

Work animals do get injuries from time to time. It is not animal abuse to use riding horses as riding animals. You learn the entire time you work with animals. The guy who made the halter mistake, will never do it again, and anyone watching this film will probably neither (though it seemed like a real rookie mistake).
