No one complains when straight movies have gorgeous actors (most of them).
They complain all the time but even though the mainstream culture may be obsessed with beauty and youth but it is nowhere near the level the gay community has achieved.

What has gay community achieved and how? The practice of casting handsome actors was not "achieved" by us. When the Hollywood was doing it it wasn't even legal to be gay.
