three reasons:
1. director of The Perfect Guy (2015) David M. Rosenthal
2.writer of When a Stranger Calls and The Hitcher remakes Jake Wade Wall
3.they want to make action/thriller from the original ide LOL

so it is planned already to be a complete failure
