Teanna had some good points

I don't understand--real Xmas trees in a dept. store--wouldn't that be a fire hazard? What was so terrible about the pink ones in the windows? they were pretty. Teanna was right about taking away some of the excess decorations --the store was way too cluttered before--the merchandise is supposed to show-the decorations should recede into the background. Old-fashioned traditions such as caroling and Santa Claus are not going to bring shoppers in and save the store. As we all know, it's the bargains. The unrealistic premise seemed like so much pie-in-the-sky treacle.
