Problems I had with Credibility

So, when Tom took Wendy and her daughter to the park that Wendy had never been to, Wendy had NO problem sitting on a bench that faced AWAY from the play area. A city Wendy was not familiar with and she had no problem taking her eye off her 6 year old.

Teanna is a Consultant. A consultant would not have a key to any of the registers!

I am sure I will find more story credibility issues (not goofs, just bad, not thought out writing issues). What are some that you all found?

The singing. The fact that, out of nowhere, they were both great singers, and neither one looked in the slightest bit surprised when the other opened their mouths and the amazing voice came out. Not so much as a blink.

Then, not even a comment on it when they finished singing.

Seriously?

I agree about the singing. They both had the most unbelievable voices, like Broadway stars. If anybody just started singing like that, it would be a big deal because most people don't have voices like that. It also seemed unusual that they both knew all of the verses of the First Noel. I don't think very many people could sing the entire thing the way they did.

At the beginning of the movie I was under the impression that the city being referenced in the movie is New York City. My biggest gripe is that all of the deciduous trees were bright green. In New York all of the deciduous trees would have lost their leaves by Christmas time. I found it distracting.

Also she goes to the big city to earn enough money to save her candy store and she doesn't even have a job lined up? And she gets a job as a temp in retail? Then she gets $1000 dollars in, what, 2 weeks to send home? What a crock.

reply

LOL. I know. I thought the same thing. I mean, if you had to work a job for just $1000 in order to save a business and you didn't have at least 1K in a business or personal emergency fund then you have no "business" owning a business, or a house for that matter.

You can pick apart the film all you want but I enjoyed it. My only problem is tha fact that if you set up someone to look like they are stealing then YOU SHOULD BE ARRESTED

How about when Wendy said, "You're the real Santa Claus, aren't you?" It didn't take much for her to believe Santa Claus is real.
