I believe he's pointing out the fact that Ryan Reynolds has no billing at all which would
indicate that he did his role for free. Why? We may never know.

I have noticed some big name actors who play small parts or cameos prefer not to be billed. Rather top billing or no billing. It promotes discussion and controversy like on this post

why not be billed as 'special appearance by Ryan'

or AND RYAN

something like that should work.

I find it insulting that a top actor does a cameo and then he is billed 4th like he was just one of the small characters like a nobody.

I find it insulting for the actor as it might damage their image or put it at risk by first doing this kind of role and then not having proper mention like its a cameo. just to put his name in the middle doesn't justify his presence imo

I guess so but for e.g. in bollywood there is one actor I know of who doesn't care where his name is put and that was taken for granted, not that he cares

so same might be the case here but this is hollywood so it might not be

I'm saying if I'm in his position and I do a cameo then I'd make sure its mentioned as such because a star of his stature doesn't need to do this kind of role in the first place and if he does then they better mention it too.

A cameo role or cameo appearance is typically an unnamed role/part, or an appearance as themselves. Ryan Reynolds role in this movie doesn't fit either of those descriptions, so it couldn't be a cameo.
