Dancing
I was ready to give the movie an "8". But, any Hollywood movie that ends up with the whole cast singing and dancing over the end credits automatically gets 2 points deducted.

haha. It was nice seeing everyone have a good time dancing. When Patricia Heaton's character broke loose, made me smile.

Yeah, that was nice. But then I realized that almost all actors have some training in dancing. So, the "fun" ending of everyone dancing is really just a way for the actors to show off the stuff they learned in acting school.

the whole time I watched that part, I kept saying it was planned that way so that guy from Glee could get his spotlight. As soon as they showed that DJ in the Bowling alley at the end, I knew the last scene was going to show everyone dancing, and knew that it was mainly so that Glee guy could show off - and sure enough, he did. Very cheesy and predictable.
shareA little harsh, but yeah...it's cliched. I'd save the two-point deduction for any film that uses either or both of the following in the trailer:
1. Whimsical music that stops just before a (usually inane) punchline, then starts again immediately after.
2. Lots of extended "whooooaahhh" screaming while a character is in out-of-control motion.
For the record, I'm with you on the 8. Surprisingly so.
I don't know why, but I really loved the dance scene
shareI deducted 2 points because they didn't let Trace Adkins do his thang. The man can moooove. ;-)
