So, how is this really?

Is it stupid, stupid but mom's will appreciate it, or good/decent? I'm a mom of two kids under 3, so I would be interested in it if it is similar to "What to Expect when you're expecting", silly, but funny to moms. Thanks!

My mother-in-law and I were cracking up through the entire movie. The theatre was almost full and everyone was laughing most of the time. It's the silly type of humor that I love and it probably would appeal to most moms who have felt stressed out and even under appreciated at times.

I also enjoyed the message of how important us moms are and how we don't need to be perfect, esp when it comes to raising our kids. The entire audience in our theatre enjoyed it. It was a great stress reliever and I've not laughed that hard in a long time.

(I haven't watched What to Expect When You're Expecting yet - it's on my instant queue - so I don't know what type of humor it has.)

It has its funny parts throughout the movie. The ending is a riot. It lasts awhile, so plenty of laughs to make up for the beginning.

Great movie. I'm a guy who went with my wife and she really identified with the characters in the movie. She loved it, and so did I. It's funny, and respectful of women and especially moms. The reviews I have seen in the media are many miles off base.

Yeah, I know. I was rolling my eyes reading some of the "critics" reviews.

I thought the beginning was a little on the over-the-top silly side, but it was a fun movie with lots of laugh-out-loud moments. Our theater was fill, and everyone was laughing pretty hard throughout the movie.

I'm not a mother, but did take my elderly Mom to see it today. We both laughed a lot. It was great to be able to laugh at humor played out on the screen and not out of embarrassment.
Friend went with because she's a huge Trace Adkins fan. Now she is looking for his dialogue from the film, because it was so spot on.

Good Decent, and expect hollywood to ignore it.

I just want to add that this movie has HEAVY Christian influence. I have no problem with this, but I took my cousin (who is a Mother/committed Atheist) for mother's day and we watched the trailer together before and it did not indicate this at all(there is one point before she's tased where the one lady says she's a preacher's wife but that was the closest it ever came). Also I thought it was silly stupid, and my boyfriend didn't care for it. BUT everyone else in the theater was laughing like crazy all the time.

I went with 3 friends, 2 are moms, one was a teenager, and I am mom to a 24 yr old. We all loved it! It was hilarious! Yeah, some of the situations were a little over the top, but I have heard worse in real life. Appropriately we went to see it the evening before Mother's Day. I am thinking about inviting some of my other friends to go see it with me. I also loved that there was no swearing or gratuitous sex scenes. Just good clean hilarity!

If you're a mom with young kids, you WILL appreciate it! Critics are trashing it, but audiences are loving it. It's a bit uneven, but some of it is hysterically funny!

Well worth getting a baby sitter (who doesn't work at a tattoo parlor) and taking the hubby or girlfriends.

My wife is a mom with young kids but she did not like it. She said it was "Harold and Kumar" for Christians.
