LOVE his role here.... actually just love most everything he does. I believe the show could've been a little better, maybe writing?, but it was pretty much what I was expecting, I lighthearted romp nothing serious or earth shattering. Found pretty much all of the roles to be entertaining but, again, Trace made the movie for me!

I agree pretty much with that assessment. I thought he did well and had a strong presence.

I hate to admit this because as a catholic I never want to come across as Kirk Cameron.

I enjoyed the Trace Adkins charactor.
The relationship with Jesus is not complicated.
You don't have to look or be one certain way to benefit from the love of Jesus.

I'm wondering if Trace Atkins is leaving his country music gig for acting. I've seen him in some small roles in several movies and he does very well. But, it would be a shame if he stopped singing.
