Offensively Bad

not to mention it blatantly tries to make it seem like there are three suspects, then two. when it's already obvious who it is anyway. ridiculous that he literally stabs justin in the throat, hard, yet no blood went anywhere in her room. he puts the dead body underneath the bed which doesnt have a dust ruffle...we can see the dead body at an angle above the bed, where she herself would be be able to see a dead body just from glancing down a bit. the body is there two days almost, and it doesn't stink up the room and hallway? really? also dumb that he killed one other person, that happened to be her friend. then they make a "big deal" about him randomly finding her by seeing her across the street at the coffee shop for the first time. but he has enough time to gather up all those pics of hers and newspaper clippings to hang on the wall. her other friend who comes over for like two mins is a complete waste of time in the film. so was the first girl who got killed. we are expected to believe also that he can TOUCH HER during her sleep and hover over her, without her ever waking up during that. even really deep sleepers can be woken if they are consistently touched. pretty risky move on his part. and omg, this is a pet peeve of mine in many films. if the chick is irish, and cant do an american accent--- hire other actors in her family who have an irish-american accent as well. if that deems too difficult, cast a diff lead. but dont show a brother, AND a mom, the brother with an american accent, the mom-- another actress who is fumbling and struggling to do an american accent, couldnt tell what she actually was. but she wasn't irish. maybe british. or maybe he american accent is weird. either way, why the eff is one person in the family irish sounding? are we supposed to just let it slide and not think about it? if i were the director i would have hired two other actors that can speak mildly irish. dont let actors get away with that *beep* it's literally their jobs to be able to have different accents and pull them off.

and the ending was atrociously bad. totally agree this film just sucked.

That ending...why would the guy wait for her to go to sleep then jump out at her in bed just to knock her out, drag her to the basement, wait for her to wake up and then jump out and immediately kill her? Such awful writing.

The film is actually pretty good and suspenseful up until the ending---which, frankly looked like it was just tacked on, and was just plain stupid because it really didn't seem to have any connection with what had gone on before. It would have been fine the way it was if it had just ended when you thought it ended,period.
