when you see a major screw up less than 4 minutes into the movie. The chick in the house where the lights go out. The intruder gets her from behind by putting a plastic gag on her head. Her arms are free and flailing all over the place. Why didn't she rip a hole in the freaking bag?
shareWe're to believe that she's freaking out and not thinking clearly enough to do that. I chalk it up to things that horror movie characters do (or do not do) that grinds the audience's gears. Similar to how girls in horror movies run up the stairs instead out of going out the front door, except in this case the characters aren't thinking clearly enough to do what seems to obvious to us the audience (which is to rip what looks to be a plastic shopping bag).
