wonderful film

I enjoyed this film very much. It was difficult to watch at times because for many of us aging baby boomers, this is our reality. Watching someone who is always "in control" come to grips with "letting go" was actually cathartic for me.

It was interesting to read that the director's most emotional scene was the one of the granddaughter hearing the news. It was such a simple scene and it felt so true. I remember overhearing a similar phone call as a child and the reaction of the child on screen was perfect. We all want to pull the covers up and go back to our dream worlds.

Highly recommended - have a glass of wine afterwards...
