I remember reading somewhere that season 1 would have 11 episodes. But that last episode was kind of random, and didn't really have a "season finale" feel to it. Are more being produced than initially ordered?

Articles about Weiner's cameo refer to the episode as the season finale, so I think yes, that was it for Season 1. Has anyone heard if it has been renewed for Season 2?

Yup, looks like that was the last episode as there wasn't a new one up this week. Rather disappointing...felt like the show never quite figured out what it wanted to be and just floundered for 11 episodes...it never built toward anything.

If it comes down to Amazon choosing between this or betas to renew, I think they should definitely go with betas. That show is probably cheaper to produce and it had a storyline that progressed. Plus, their season ender was actually a decent finale.

Is there any word on other possible shows Amazon will be producing? I hope they try a drama or two. Netflix really hasn't tried comedy outside of resurrecting Arrested Development and that Lilyhammer thing which is so low profile compared to their other original series.

Amazon also just gave the go-ahead for a Barbarella pilot as well.

I only thought they did SIX, to be honest, so I've got some catching up to do tonight!!

altho honestly, I'd imagine the other actors knew the survival of the show depended on John's availability. If he was out, then they were hitting up their agents for their next gigs.

There is a season two, which perhaps you already know. I'm watching this show on amazon instant video this week. (Actually as usual I'm listening to it.
