You failed to include how the production crew often help the participants (contrary to what the show tells us to believe).

Spend a night naked in the pouring rain at 47F and you might change your mind. Alone looks way easier. Shoes/clothes/tools make life so much easier. No psycho to argue with either.

Alone and naked would be way easier than clothed and afraid.

Some of these women are complete nutcases and they not only sap the energy of the men, the also demand the man to build crap and hunt extra food as well, sapping both physical and mental strength.

A few of the women have pulled their weight as well (being hampered by a lazy, grumpy, bossy man), but they are few and far between.

Alone and naked would simply require the right mindset to begin with, few to none of the participants in the past seasons have had that.

Naked and afraid (of your partner) must be hell.

I would rather attempt Alone than Naked and Afraid. Due to the lack of tools and resources, Naked and Afraid is more like "endure and not die" than a survival show. Alone allows for more potential to actually use skills and improve your own situation.
