The flag on the mailbox was always up.
That bugged me more than it should have. What was the mailman thinking, and how did Ricky ever know whether the mail had been picked up? The only nitpick in an otherwise great movie.

I know it's half a year since you wrote this--but the flag on the mailbox made me crazy too!
Especially the scene where Ricky checks the mailbox, it's empty, and she walks away from it with the flag still up.
