With Richard saying their story will be different then how it was in books I wonder how they'll change it. To me they can't change any of the huge stuff that happened with them in the books cause that would royally mess with any future season of show as well if they get a season 5 on. Wouldn't it?
shareMaybe they will have him get captured by the Indians in some other way than Jamie handing him over. That could help redeem Brianna from being a selfish moron and Jamie from overreacting? They can still go off to rescue him to keep the Ian story intact.

Maybe they'll have them work more as a team and act together a bit more, before they go through the stones. Brianna and Roger correspond whilst living on different continents for a quite a while, seeing each other only a couple of times, which might not be considered good enough drama. I could understand them wanting the actors in the same room more often than the books allow.

Wouldn't it?Their storyline was not that interesting to begin with, so for me I'm hoping for a great improvemnt if they are going to be included a lot. Major parts of their story was very boring and some of it ridiculous, so the change may actually make for a better story: let's hope. share
Since this book is out, the interviews for it would have been done months & months ago, conceivably before Season 3 scripts were even done. And they haven't even begun Season 4 scripts yet. Rik has to be talking about Season 2 and what was left over to be covered by Season 3.
I could see where they would have Bree & Roger 'fall in love' & be more committed to each other before Claire leaves, that would makes sense from Claire's POV.
