6/10. Here's why / Esta es la razón:
CANTINFLAS' plot jumps back and forward between the title character's origins and the making of AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS. The problem is that CANTINFLAS doesn't really appear in much of the latter. MICHAEL TODD, that movie's producer, gets as much screentime as him. You can't do that in a biopic. However, this approach is better than the standard "Let's tell all the main events in chronological order like we're checking items off a list" format. And it's well-filmed and acted, even if a lot of the supporting actors don't look like the people they're portraying.

La trama de CANTINFLAS se va de atrás para adelante entre los orígines del personaje titular y la realización de LA VUELTA AL MUNDO EN 80 DÍAS. El problema es que CANTINFLAS no aparece mucho realmente en lo segundo. MICHAEL TODD, el productor de esa película, recibe tanto tiempo en pantalla como él. No se puede hacer eso en una biografía. Sin embargo, este enfoque es mejor que el formato estándar «Vamos a contar todos los eventos principales en orden cronológico como si estuviéramos tachando cosas en una lista». Y está bien filmada y actuada, aun si muchos de los actores secundarios no se parecen a la gente que interpretan.
