I havent been watching, so did they ever address tamar's departure on

the show? I mean did say anything especially for the viewers who dont fool with social media or watch Wendy Williams show because I think she was the only talk show host that mentioned it or they just acting like nothing happen. I mean the show is suppose to be call the real so they need to be real and say what happen.

IDK because they moved their time slot here and i had no interest in the show before they moved it. i lost interest because they are too phony and boring. and the fact that they didn't mention tamar's departure the first week which is the only week i have watched was a complete foul move. girl chat was my favorite and i simply no longer enjoyed them as they were obviously trying too hard and FAILING.

Look I know tamar could be difficult and she got on my nerves too at times but I just don't see the show surviving without her. Tamar had alot of fans more than the other girls on the show and I seriously doubt they all strong enough to carry the show unless they get someone that can add some flare which none of them have.

No, they didn't mention Tamar's departure. Had she not blown a gasket each time Loni or Tamera politely wished her well when they were asked about her firing, I think they would've said something. Tamar herself said in a tweet that she wanted them to keep her name out of their mouths so they obliged.

If the producers do decide to hire a fifth co-host, I hope it's not someone who constantly smacks her lips, rudely rolls her eyes and shoots down the other host's opinions or imitate contestants from RuPaul's Drag Race. Tamar could be funny and I found myself agreeing with her about certain things from time to time, but she loved being the center of attention and fancying herself as Diana Ross to The Real's Supremes. You can have flair without being team too much imo.

YEA!!!!!! it's all tamar's fault that they, her good friends who loved her sooooooo much stabbed her in the back. i was NOT the least bit impressed with loni making sure to cover her own ass with all of her media ploys and constant comments to anybody who would listen supposedly as tamar's BFF. one "i don't know what happened" would have been enough. i'd not take it well if my so called "good friends" kept the public conversation going either, especially at my expense.

How did they stab her in the back?

Seeing as Tamar unfriended everyone but Tamera and strongly implied that the other women had something to do with her firing I don't see anything wrong with Loni letting the fans know that they didn't have anything to do with that and they were as shocked and blindsided as the viewers. Like I said before, Tamera and Loni only spoke about Tamar when they were asked about her and both were polite and wished her well. Tamar is the one who flew off the handle like a fool and kept the public conversation going. She didn't have to say anything.

it's obvious that you think what the "friends" did and how they behaved was appropriate and tamar was inappropriate. i disagree completely. how does "unfriending" someone on PUBLIC media mean you don't want or need your "friends" to stand by you?? why would tamar WANT to discuss her situation on social media if she wasn't answering in private at the very beginning?? did her beloved friends think she was in a happy place and ready to party or could it be she was distraught?? i've never been fired, so unless being fired automatically means that all methods of communication among friends is also fired, i don't get the deal. i recall loni saying that she had "reached out, received no response, AND was going to give tamar space." THEN iin very short order she began her personal "don't blame me" tour!!!! whether they did or didn't have anything to do with tamar's firing from the show, does NOT excuse their public discussions about it. beyond I DON'T KNOW what happened, they should have respected the "friend they loved" enough to remain silent. as i said more than one time saying that was NOT the actions of someone who loves you. regardless of who, when, why someone asked it was just as easy and definitely possible to say nothing MORE.

"how does "unfriending" someone on PUBLIC media mean you don't want or need your "friends" to stand by you??"

Seriously? If someone "unfriends" you on social media and does not return your phone calls, it's a sign that they're angry and don't want to be bothered with you. If you've done nothing to deserve it, you're going to want to get to the bottom of it. Also slipping in a line about not being able to trust "so-called friends", but making it a point to say that she wasn't talking about her sisters or Vince, who the hell else would she be talking about?

"why would tamar WANT to discuss her situation on social media if she wasn't answering in private at the very beginning??"

She didn't have to discuss or do anything on her social media, but she sure didn't mind using it to throw her co-hosts under the bus.

"did her beloved friends think she was in a happy place and ready to party or could it be she was distraught?? i've never been fired, so unless being fired automatically means that all methods of communication among friends is also fired, i don't get the deal. i recall loni saying that she had "reached out, received no response, AND was going to give tamar space." Loni was promoting the show and the Essence Festival so of course she was going to be asked about Tamar. I don't find anything wrong with what she said. It's not like she implied that Tamar had herself to blame for being fired and she threw no shade whatsoever. All she said was "I and the other ladies wish Tamar the best and will miss her on the show". It's not "discussing" anything and again, both Loni and Tamera were ASKED about Tamar. It's not their fault Tamar chose to play the victim.

Came here to ask same question. Missed when the show returned, assumed they were still showing repeats.

Only saw one response that states nothing was mentioned. I would think they could have at least stated she moved on or other, rather than leaving it looking like she could return. Example is when she missed days for DWTS.

I bet they would have if Tamar didn't throw a silly tantrum on social media telling them to keep her name out of their mouths.

Can anyone tell me what happen between tamera, adrienna and tamar? I thought tamar was cool with them but it seems like she doesnt follow them anymore.

reply

For whatever reason Tamar immediately unfollowed and unfriended all of the co-hosts except for Tamera after she received the news that she was fired. It was never explained why she did that, but she finally removed Tamera from her social media after Tamera was asked about Tamar during a fan Q & A. A fan asked her if she was still cool with Tamar and Tamera said that they were still cool and they would all miss her on The Real, but she's talented and will succeed in whatever she does next. That's all she said and that caused Tamar to snipe at her and Loni for not "keeping my name out yo' mouth". Loni said Jeannie and Adrienne, in particular, took all of this the hardest.
