I want to see this movie just because I've seen movie like The Fighter and Warrior and I expect something good from this too, a good action-drama. But unfortunately its just a cliche chinese movie, nothing new to offer. Worth watching but dont expecting too much.
shareSorry you didn't like it. I happen to think that Nick Cheung and Cristal Lee gave an outstanding Oscar-caliber performance, the plot was sublime (a story of human perseverance & redemption), and cinematography was top-notch.

I'm with Alik. I thought the movie was outstanding, comparable to Rocky and The Champ. This is more drama than fighting, but the fight scenes were very well choreographed. The lead characters were well developed and had me caring for them. The last quarter of the movie was unexpected. It had me cheering. Stick around for the end credits and it shows with pictures what happened to the two main characters. Excellent themes about the triumph of the human spirit and redemption.
