Already from the poster..

..you can see how crappy it is. Come on, I have hardly used photoshop and I'm not the best photographer or designer, but I would have made a much better look than this. First of all, in that kind of cheap look, a fancy superman-logo just doesn't fit. A more regular looking logo would be more fitting. And the round-faced man is obviously acting (!) to look down. I mean how can you fail that?? It's a horrible background picture, and how can you think you can get away with making five, yes FIVE different fonts in different shades and colors on the same poster? And the ugly layers with clouds and everything. And to highlight a bunch of names noone have heard about? This doesn't belong on imdb, this belongs in the homes at the people involved with this.

Ok, maybe they use the same font on the names on the top and the name-text on the bottom, but that's impossible to takenotice of when there are different tacky designs on all of the text fields. And it looks like the man is not photographed towards a greenscreen, but rather being cut roughly around in paint, or probably printed out, cut with a scissor and glued on to the low quality photo of the skies. And what's that line of fading fog over the title and logo?

There is no natural element to draw your eyes to as it should be. All the elements are too visible and too flamboyant for that. It's a circus!

But who am I to judge a movie on it's poster. It might be a masterpiece. lol

Sorry for making you shout troll to the screen now, but I see what I see, and I read my own standards into this. I'm not professional, but I feel like it when I watch this poster.

I saw the film now on Vimeo and realize that you are just amateur filmmaker kids, who are probably the only one reading this. I don't mean to be too judgmental, it's cool that you have a hobby and do stuff like this. I was just thinking in more professional terms. But this is a really good start to get somewhere. Take some classes and read about filmmaking and you can be more professional in the future. It all starts with the action of doing something, and it can only go upwards. About my previous post, there are some good work in the pictures on facebook and your poster. It just doesn't work professionally put together. Less is more is a good saying, and neutrality is a key word to professionalism. But you must be kings in your friend circle. As an amateur film there are quite some good elements in this movie. The variaton of camera angles are good, some of the acting is ok, and you have establishing shots. You do know something. A tip though would be to invest in a tripod..

Your blooper video was fun. And all in all, I see the effort. Rock on

A tip would be to use a real camera and not your iPhone. Also stop calling it a film. You need to use film for it to be film otherwise its just a movie, a crappy one at that. I hate that I know about this POS because its suggested by IMDB.

Ha ha. I am laughing but agree with you totally.
Why bother making something if it's going to be crap? Just don't bother...or take your time and make something decent.

I know right. Its not hard to watch this and then watch something else, anything else and see the difference. Another tip would be don't try to make a whole movie. It isn't working and won't. Make a trailer for it and work on making that look good. World's Finest still stands out at the greatest fan made project in my mind.
