Completely awful...

I'll just start by saying I had literally no expectations for this movie. Here we go:

Danny Trejo, whom I actually enjoy even in his crappiest films, plays some *geriatric* "bad ass". Fine, I'll bite. Within minutes my husband and I starting predicting where this movie was going, even quoting predictable lines before they occurred. It was embarrassing. Overused cliches, "diplomatic immunity", "meat packing plant/drug plant", etc & straight up offensive stereotypes.
Now, I'm not against stereotypes being used or referenced in movies - as long as it's FUNNY. These were not funny, and even if they were to some, maybe the first time - but let's not beat the ever living crap out of how these "old guys" can't understand anything in the way of technology throughout the ENTIRE film.

I can look past the unrealistic fight/action scenes (ice pick through the eye like that would have at least resulted in a
vegetable state), the acting wasn't even awful - the movie was just so damn cliche & predictable.

Don't waste your money. My husband fell asleep, and even he loves to watch campy crap action movies with Steven Seagal or Dolph Lundgren.

I think you are in the minority. Its one of the best rated actions films, now on Netflix. check out for yourself. People love it. sorry you did not like but its a free country

Excellent movie! So much better than the first film and that was entertaining too. Such a great move to add a buddy flick-veteran Danny Glover to the sequel.

Exactly. I loved it. If I would have taken the TC's advice I would have missed it.
