There supposed to be freshman???
The actors don't look like high school freshman to me. They should have played sophomores/juniors at least. I think did this because this show can have four seaaons or longer run.

Agreed. I saw Olivia Holt perform a year ago and she definitely looked older than high school freshman even then. She could've passed for at least sixteen easily.

They look early 20s to me. I am in my 30s. But to be honest, a lot of high school kids are looking older these days.
shareThey are a few years older, but not THAT old really as compared to some people who played teenage roles. We are talking acting here. Back in the day, guys played girls! Some of the cast in ANT Farm started to look a bit too old too.
shareTeens get very upset for some reason when adults play teenagers. I don't know why. I guess they are afraid of becoming adults. But really, Ive seen some teenagers that look every bit of 25.
