Everyone has an American accent

I'm American and find this to be a little strange. I don't like nitpicking, but I wonder why theyou didn't get voice actors from the countries the levels take place in.

I know - it's peculiar and they're getting away with it at the moment because people bought the whole game in advance so critics reviews have less harm upon them.

I just tell myself in my head that theres lots of tourists or that agent 47 can understand the local language and it just sounds American to us because of how a foreign language would sound to someone that is fluent. Like, you wouldn't hear an accent. For example, I live in Japan and speak Japanese, but I'm American. When I hear Americans speak English it sounds normal to me and when I hear Japanese people speak Japanese, it sounds normal like there is no accent. In contrast, a Japanese speaking English you would hear an accent and I'm sure when they hear me speak Japanese, they hear an accent because I don't say words the same as they do. Hope that makes sense.

I see what you mean. I'm just so used to the old games before Absolution where you would hear conversations in the native language. The npcs' reactions are a lot funnier now. I guess they did all of this to do something different.

Yeah, it bugged me a little at first, but then as time went on, I dont mind it now. Like you said, their reactions are funnier now. So I'm totally cool with it.
