It would've been so easy to .... (spoilers)

ESCAPE

Get in the car and drive. That's all there would've been to it.
Why would you stop for a fragile old cultist cop?!

Also, isn't it kinda funny the only contact the guy knows is a taxi number? I mean, he's fearing for his life and he gives up after the taxi won't service him. Would make sense to call a friend, or his parents, or anyone.

That made so little sense...and the doctor waited way, way too long before trying to get out. He should have done it the moment the creepies drag him to the cave to help with the birth.

At first I was thinking "What an idiot. Why didn't she just run that fool over and keep going". Well when it comes out who she is, then it's clear she really wanted to come back. My question: Why did she try to leave in the first place. Was she having a weak moment? The writing in this movie was horrible.

This also makes you wonder - was she in actual danger in the car, or was that all just theatrical display for her husband's benefit. If the danger was real then she should have wanted to get away. If it wasn't, it doesn't make sense that they attacked her at all.

^^This right here.

Yeah I don't understand why he stopped for that cop. Get out of town and deal with the ramifications of running from the law later. Get your family and you to safety. Now as for calling a taxi I definitely wouldn't have stopped there. Hell if I had to I would have called for a chopper to fly in and land to get my family and me out of there.

i found it weird that there was no problem getting an express package there full of disease.
