great film ***spoilers***

I really enjoyed this story.
No, it wasn't just about a girl finding a lesbian relationship that she secretly desired.
It was about a young woman overcoming a fear (vertigo) that was causing her a whole lot of angst and probably the main reason why she cut herself.
She finally found a friend (and, as it turns out, a lover); something that she really lacked in life, who helped her overcome her shyness and fears.
In the end, it's clear they went off on different careers, but it's also clear that they would always be friends.
